About Team TechTalons

 

FTC Team Techtalons #25742 is a competitive robotics team in Folsom, CA. A rookie team founded in 2024, team TechTalons competes in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), an international robotics competition open to grades 7-12. As a rookie team, they have already competed at the NorcCal Regional Championship and qualified for an international event.

Hi My name is Isabel, I’m in 11th grade, and I’m excited to serve as both Hardware Lead and Co-Captain this year. I can’t wait to help guide our team through the season, especially as we take on new challenges and push our designs further than ever before.

Hi, my name is Ananya Purohit, a junior at Vista, and I’m excited to serve as our co-captain this year. As co-captain, I’m passionate about creating an inclusive space where every member can explore their interests in robotics and engineering. I strive to improve STEM awareness in our community by conducting STEM advocacy at various levels and hosting outreach events locally and internationally.

Hi, my name is Neha Rajesh. I’m in 10th grade, and I’m excited to serve as Software Lead this season. I enjoy programming and love seeing our ideas come to life through code. This year, I’m looking forward to improving our robot’s performance, exploring new vision features, and helping our team grow our software skills.

Hi, my name is Riddhi Rana and I’m currently a junior (11th grade). I am the Outreach Lead for our FTC robotics team. In this role, I hope to help our community through fundraising events, spreading STEM locally and globally. I’m passionate about making STEM opportunities accessible to more students and enjoy sharing what robotics can offer beyond the competition field.

Hi everyone! I’m Shruthi, a current junior at Vista del Lago High School. This season, I hope to maximize our autonomous scoring strategies utilizing path followers such as Pedro Pathing/Roadrunner, and raise enough money to fund not only our team but future outreaches for our club/girls scouts troops!

Hey! My name is Caleb Zhang and I am currently a junior attending Vista Del Lago High School. In the TechTalons, I am a software member. This year, I hope to further grow my skills in programming and successfully develop an autonomous, using path followers–PedroPathing and Roadrunner!

Hi, my name is Kanishk Deshmukh and I’m a freshman and a software member in team 25742 TechTalons. This means that I work on coding our robot using my experience in FTC last year. My goals for this season is to grow my talents contributing in making our robot and above all, have fun!

Hi, my name is Anjani Alle, a junior in high school, and I am our team’s PR manager! This means that I am the one handling our social media page and all our posts. My goals for this season are to increase our reach through our page and get to 300 followers!

Hey, I'm Ishaan Tiwari, a highly motivated 15 year old with a strong interest in problem solving, technology, and design. With experience with architecture, communication, and leadership, I hope to one day fill my dream job as a high end residential architect. As the head of drive team & strategy, this season I’m looking forward to create a competitive robot, compete with various alliances, and take on new challenges with the team.

Hi, I’m Nikhil Nandakumar, and I’m a sophomore and I am our electrical manager. This means that I am in charge of our wire management, which I have had prior experience to as of last season. My goals for this season is to make our robot competitive and achieve new things we couldn’t last season.

Hi, I'm Vidyut Narasimhan and I'm in 10th grade. I'm part of the Hardware sub team and my goals for this season are to learn how to drive the robot and to do the best I can on anything I work on. I'm looking forward to working on a great robot that will hopefully bring us to victory.

Hi, i’m Atharva, and I am an 8th grader. I’m a hardware member, primarily working with others to put the robot together and test it. My goals for this season are to learn as many new things about hardware and be able to do as much as possible with the team.
